Pula is the largest City of Istria, situated in the south of Istrian peninsula. Pula was since Roman times, and stayed, till today, Istrian administrative and cultural centre.
Pula was under the occupation of Romans, who build some of the most impressive buildings in the world, the gladiator's Arena. Pula Arena is one of the sixt largest surviving Roman arenas in the world.
